Cradled in a Stranger’s Arms
Back when I was seven, I drowned in a pool. I was unresponsive for about 2 minutes before being brought back with CPR. I remember sinking to the bottom of the pool and looking up at the sun, thinking that there was no way I would make it to the surface. My vision started to go dark until there was complete darkness. I felt like I was being cradled in someone’s arms and seeing millions of stars as a wave of comfort washed over me. Suddenly I was yanked out and then everything hurt. I was back.
