My Stepdad and a Sheet of Ice
Approximately 12 years ago, I had an abscess in my mouth and I was taking a lot of pain medication because of it. One night, I woke up to a light and I was lying under a sheet of ice. I was looking out and my stepfather who had died a few years prior was on my left telling me that everything was going to be okay. The ice melted and we floated over a cliff together. Then I got sucked back into my body. The feeling of peace was so overwhelming that I struggled with being back.
