Major Differences
My husband grew up privileged, and I grew up poor, and we keep finding these differences all the time, even after almost a decade together. It’s so strange I ended up with someone who used to go abroad at least once every year. His father’s family has a house in Italy! Meanwhile, I spent most summers at home or at my grandparents’ summer cottage just 45 min away. His parents have owned a flat worth million of Swedish crowns in Stockholm city, while my family just recently was finally able to buy a house for the first time in their lives(over 50).
