Rich South African Woman
A family friend married a South American woman from a very, very wealthy family. She didn’t even know what money was. She had never paid while shopping, and often the servants went shopping for her. Well, when she got married, her husband was explaining how checks and debit cards work, so she was just buying anything she wanted until he told her one day that she had to stop spending because they didn’t have any more money. Her response was: “How can we be out of money when I still have checks?”
