I Knew I Was Lucky
My parents are not insanely rich but relatively wealthy still. My dad travels a lot for work, so he has a platinum airline card that lets us skip the lines whenever we go on vacation. The few times I had to take the plane alone were eye-opening. You actually have to get there hours in advance. I knew we were lucky to have his frequent flyer status, but still, I wasn’t prepared.
