Among their many sensible laws regarding alochol consumption, Alaska has one that feels a bit like a catch-22. They state it plainly enough: “It’s illegal to be intoxicated in any bar in Alaska.” But, like, isn’t becoming intoxicated sort of the point of going to a bar? And what about someone who gets tipsy after half a glass of wine?
