4. Mr. America
At this point, who doesn’t know who Hulk Hogan is? The man has done it all: movies, reality TV, music, tabloid scandals, and of course, wrestling. His gimmick was based on being the all-American hero that everyone in the 1980s was dying to have, and he helped make wrestling what it is today. But, after two whole decades of an impeccable career, Hogan decided to try something new, and he adopted the Mr. America persona, covering his face with a mask. It was supposed to be a disguise, but it didn’t take long before people realized it was him. After all, he even used his usual theme music and his signature moves!
