Although Bernardo was the mastermind behind the unspeakable crimes, Homolka wasn’t an angel, and she participated in horrific acts against the young teenage girls and her own sister, Tammy. However, she agreed to plead guilty in order to get her sentence reduced to a mere 12 years.
