Who Was He?
Brian was stumped. “What do you mean?” he asks, his heartbeat in his throat. “Go to the library and look up the house,” the old man demanded. “And be careful of the garden,” he says before walking away. “The previous owner liked to hide certain things.” Brian was lost for words. Who was this old man? How did he know about Brian’s new home? And more importantly what exactly happened at his new home? Brian needed answers. And he needed them fast.
