Donald Henry Gaskins
Known as the meanest man in America, he claimed to have killed more than 100 people between 1953 and 1982, but he was convicted of only nine murders. He earned the nickname “The Hitchhikers’ Killer” for picking up people on coastal highways, then torturing and mutilating them.
