Al Roker – 190 lbs – Gastric Bypass Surgery

Al Roker is a well-known American journalist, weatherman, and TV personality. He is currently the weather anchor on The Today Show on NBC. In November 2014, Roker beat the previous record of 33 hours of an uninterrupted live weather report, held by Eli Kari Gjengedal and set the new Guinness World Record of 34 hours. At his heaviest, Roker was 340 pounds and attributed this to binge eating. He underwent surgery and dropped 190 lbs in the next year, but his weight battle was just beginning. He admitted later that he ‘ate through it’ and now prefers a natural remedy to shed those extra kilos.
