Ruben Studdard – 129 lbs – Weight Loss Retreat
Ruben Studdard is an R&B, gospel, and pop singer, who rose to fame by winning the 2nd season of American Idol. His vocal performance on Superstar, originally by Bonnie Bramlett and Leon Russell, won Ruben a Grammy Award nomination. He later released seven studio albums, went on tours, and even appeared on Broadway. Studdard peaked at 462 lbs and joined The Biggest Loser as well in a weight loss retreat at the Upper Marlboro church. He lost 129 lbs on the ranch, saying it was ten times harder than he thought it and now he follows a healthy lifestyle to maintain the weight loss he achieved on the show.
