Archaeologists dug in a dense neighborhood in Cairo and stumbled upon a 26-foot tall ancient statue! It turns out it was the statue of King Psammetich I (ruler of Egypt from 664 to 610 BC). This is the most massive statue uncovered by archaeologists that dates from the Late Period.
