Frilled Shark

Facebook / Government of Jersey

The frilled shark is a prehistoric-like shark that’s long, cylindrical and can reach a length of about 7 feet. They spend a lot of time in the deep, dark waters, swim like serpents and have rows of long teeth that they use to snag other fish and squid. In many cases, it will lunge and swallow a prey whole.
