Friendly’s
Friendly’s used to be the place families gathered for delicious ice cream and diner-style meals, but this is a thing of the past. Friendly’s used to have 500 locations across the United States, but they had lost several patrons over the last few years due to the changes in the market. As a result, the chain has closed many of its locations across the country and filed for bankruptcy in 2011. They hoped this would help them to survive, but it did more damage than good. Currently, Friendly’s has only 167 locations left.
