This chain is famous among people living in the South. Some of Krystal’s menu items are similar to those of White Castle. The chain has 360 locations across the United States, but some recently had to close their doors due to financial difficulties. Krystal filed for bankruptcy in January 2020 due to the dept of $50-$100 million. Currently, there are 116 franchise locations and 182 company-owned ones. All of Krystal’s locations will likely disappear in the next few years.
