For weeks, Adriana was so happy that she was going to go to prom with a date, and now she didn’t even want to leave her house. She ended up calling Parker and telling him to ask someone else because she couldn’t afford a more expensive dress. Like in any high school, word got out pretty fast that Adriana wasn’t going to the prom. When we say everyone knew, we even include Parker’s grandmother.
