9. Turda Salt Mine
The Turda Salt Mine is located in Romania and it is believed to be one of the world’s oldest salt mines. The cave was used as a bomb shelter World War 2 because of how deep it is. Nowadays, the salt mine is a theme park where tourists are allowed to explore the underground.
