A Very Rare Species
Remember when we said they’re nicknamed “ghosts of the forest”? It’s because they’re rarely spotted in the rainforests. This is why conservation teams are making huge efforts to learn more about their behavior, diet, movements and so on. Plus, it gives them a clue on exactly how many exemplars there are. There is another problem: they’re endangered because of hunting and habitat destruction.
