Dog And Cat Meat Found In Chinese Food
An internet hoax suggested that Chinese restaurants were using dogs and cats and disguising it as cow and chicken meat. While it may not happen in the United States, activists stormed the Fangji cat meatball restaurant in Shenzhen in 2006. They showed up with banners that said, “Cats and dogs are friends of humans. Stop eating them, please.” Because of their perseverance, they were able to find a skinned cat in the fridge of the restaurant.
