UK Residents Have a Competition Where They Roll After a Huge Cheese Wheel
The South West England Gloucester region holds an annual spring event where people from all over the world gather to watch competitors roll after a giant cheese wheel. The double Gloucester cheese, which weighs about nine pounds, rolls from the top of the hill. The competitors chase it all the way to the bottom, and the first one to cross the finish line wins the competition and receives the cheese as the price.
