Thailand Holds a Nationwide Water Fight In April
People in Thailand know how to have fun! Every year, the residents celebrate a holiday called Songkran, which means “astrological passage.” The beginning of the celebration is based on when the Sun enters Aries (the beginning of a new solar year). The point of this event is to celebrate the beginning of spring or rain. It lasts for five days, starting on April 12 and ending on April 16.
