Another unusual thing about Brazil is that people always ask you if you need to take a shower. The first thing a visitor would be asked upon arrival to someone’s home is if they need to shower. In other countries, this would be taken as a hint that you have a body odor, but it’s common to offer guests a shower in Brazil, even to those who aren’t staying over. Brazilians usually take 2-3 showers a day, especially if they visit the gym or go for a run.
