If you notice a baby sleeping outside in frigid conditions, don’t bother calling the police. It’s considered normal in Scandinavian countries. Parents usually put their children down for a nap outside because they believe they will sleep better that way. London-based sleep consultant Katie Palmer explained that children who sleep outside would get higher quality sleep as they are exposed to fresh air. Many Nordic parents leave their babies out while they run errands or eat in restaurants.
