The Axeman of New Orleans
From May 1918 to October 1919, a serial killer murdered six people and injured six more around New Orleans, Louisiana via bludgeoning with an axe. Most of the victims were of Italian descent, which has led many historians to believe the crimes were ethnically motivated.
