Between 1968 and 1985, 14 to 16 people were murdered around Florence, Italy. The crimes mirrored those of the Zodiac Killer, in that “Il Mostro” would target couples parked on lovers’ lanes. The crimes were carried out with a .22 caliber gun and a knife.
