Azazel — Jason Flemyng
The X-Men: First Class devil known as Azazel was played by Jason Flemyng. He had to stay through hours of makeup to get this look. In an interview about the time he didn’t get cast in the sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past, he said he was disappointed, but then remembered all those hours on the makeup chair:
“Initially I was gutted, but then, I remembered I had to get up at two in the morning, I had to be painted red and be slightly out of focus and posed a lot, and that was sort of it. Now I don’t have to do that.”
