Englund auditioned for the role of Han Solo in Star Wars, but he didn’t take the part because he wasn’t as young as producers wished, so he met this teenager that was sleeping on his couch. It was Mark Hamill! While Englund didn’t star in Star Wars movies, he did a hell of a job in the eight horror movies where he played Freddy Krueger!
