She smiled at them and Whitney could feel her positivity brighten the room. If Whitney hadn’t seen her reaction to the bill earlier, she’d say she was the happiest person in the restaurant. She got along with her children and they smiled up at her. Whitney smiled too and order what she felt like. She asked the waitress if she had been there long, she hadn’t seen her before.
