ohn had to think of how to get inside without using the very rusty stairs. The entrance was too deep or narrow to jump, so John could get hurt because of the rusty stairs.
He came up with the idea of inserting a ladder. Filled with uncontainable excitement, John descended the ladder. He had no idea what he would find there and he could not wait to solve the mystery.
