Not What It Seemed
Kathy asked the woman for her name, and she hesitated before saying “Cee Cee. Just Cee Cee,” then, she smiled and handed Kathy her $50 note back. Kathy had glanced down at the woman’s credit card and was beginning to suspect that she was actually someone quite famous. She hung back for a while after wheeling her shopping cart toward the exit, a look of incredulity on her face.
