When she reached the checkout line, she noticed the woman again. Although California is famous for its Hollywood residents, beautiful weather, impressive architecture, and national parks, it’s also notorious for its high number of homeless people. However, more often than not, some of these “homeless” are in fact impostors. Kathy wasn’t a fool when it came to these con artists. She watched the woman hovering around the tellers and just knew that something was off. But the woman’s next action had her reaching for her phone.
