The Disappearance Of Sarah Everard
Among the recent tragic events is that of Sarah Everard, who was found dead about two weeks ago in some woodlands in Kent. After she disappeared while returning home from a friend’s house, UK authorities decided to invest an additional 25 million GBP in CCTV and better lighting.
The idea behind this is to provide better safety equipment and thus reduce the risk of men or women going after vulnerable victims who are walking downtown at night.
