It Was Her All Along
Richie opened the letter and a note and photo fell on his lap. As he read the note he realized that the girl he was waiting for, was actually the girl whose high school years he ruined. The girl who he upset in high school. The girl who he made cry after everybody mimicked her. The photo was a picture of Louisa from her yearbook. In the note Louisa slammed Richie for his superficial manner. Richie feels his cheeks blush and he scans the room looking for Louisa. But she wasn’t there. It was just him, his guilty conscience, and a reminder of his previous terrible actions.
