High School Experience
When Louisa was just ten years old she was constantly tormented at her high school for being overweight. There was one older boy who was particularly cruel. He’d call her “man-beast,” a play on her last name. Those words made an impression on 12-year-old Louisa, who developed an eating disorder and struggled to maintain her self-confidence over the next few years. When Louisa left school she felt relieved knowing she’d never see this boy again. But little did she know how wrong she was.
