A Busy Friday Night
The bar had hundreds of conversations told in loud voices, all of them competing with the pop music that dominates the room. The crowd is young students from the local university. Louisa winds her way through the warm bodies to order a drink. She leans on the bar, her brown hair lying over one shoulder of her sequinned dress. She lolled her head to one side, pushing out her red lips just a little. Louisa knew she was in for a good night. But she could never have prepared herself for this.
