Vindicated
The man from earlier was there, passed out in a puddle. The thought that that could have been her if she hadn’t acted quickly was terrifying! It was obvious that she had been the man’s target for the night. Thank goodness she had listened to her instincts when she saw him take her drink! She had done the right thing when she had swapped them.
