Pastor Kevin Matthews had been quite a social man with Marie and paid her plenty of visits. He then claimed she promised him verbally that she would donate him $1.5 million for a retreat center. He said they negotiated the sum and he had already made some commitments and now Maries was owing him money and backing out of the deal. What he does next has caused worldwide outrage!
