Joan Marie Laurer made her name in the wrestling industry as Chyna back in the 1990s and was the first woman to go big as she appeared at the Royal Rumble and King of the Ring matches. She made the way clear for many others who wanted to join the industry, especially females, and was serious when it came on to her bodybuilding and workouts. She fought her way to earning her many accolades, and after giving up the ring life, she went on to another passion – writing – where she released her autobiography. She also tried the adult industry before losing the battle of life to a drug overdose in 2016.
