Yokozuna was born Rodney Agatupa Anoa’i and was the first Samoan wrestler to be in the sport. In addition to this, he was the only Samoan to have ever won the WWF World Heavyweight Championship.
However, in 2000, the young wrestler who was only 34 years old, was found dead in his hotel room after going on a tour. It was speculated that he died of a heart attack but was later revealed that a condition known as Pulmonary Edema was the underlying cause of his death.
