Being a former OVW Heavyweight Champion and a successful wrestler, The Tough Enough event helped make Matt Cappotelli who he was. However, he is no longer with us as he suffered a brain tumor, which was cancerous.
Matt’s tumor was high risk, and the only way to stay alive was to do a critical surgery to remove the tumor. But, though the surgery was partially successful, a piece of the tumor had to remain as it was too risky to remove, and it ended, causing his death in 2018.
