Calling For Help
Joe bolted to the bedroom and locked himself in. He knew it was time to call for help. He called 911, but he was so terrified that he could only whimper the address and give no more information. A few minutes later, he heard them pull up the drive, kick the front door in, and pound on his bedroom door, screaming “police!” He refused to come out from the safety of his room until they had searched every corner in the house and every dark shadow outside.
