We might never know what Joe saw. Finally deciding that it was time to get the police involved, he handed the VHS tapes over and removed all his Reddit posts. He deleted his profile and any other posts linking him to the case. He refused to disclose what he had seen, but all we know is that now he was well and truly frightened for his life at that point.
