A Bright Future
In 1991, Carlos Sanchez Ortiz de Salazar seemed as though he had a bright future ahead of him. The 26-year-old doctor had a degree in medicine and psychology and had thrived during his studies. He spoke multiple languages and graduated at the top of his class. He was soft-spoken, polite, and well-liked by his peers.
