Thompson owes his entire career to the club. He was part of the club for almost a year, and lived the full lifestyle and drove a motorcycle with them. When he released the book ‘Hells Angels: The Strange and Terrible Saga of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs’, he had a falling out with the club. They accused him of exploiting them and wanted a share of the book sales. Thompson’s book was a huge success, and he didn’t give a penny to the club.
