Getting Evicted
In his book, Thompson mentioned that once he ran into one of his neighbors who asked if “these boys” were his friends, and he said yes. He received an eviction notice just four days after. Thompson didn’t think his neighbors cared much about the noise coming from his apartment. After all, he never heard any complaints from them. It was only when he got evicted that he realized how much trouble he had caused them.
