If you think that public colleges are the only ones that have come under fire, then you’re wrong. There are plenty of private colleges on the list of worst colleges in the country, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is one of them.
The school welcomed its first set of students back in 1824 and for almost 200 years, it’s been accepting thousands of students. Although many people have graduated from there, many of them aren’t happy about their time there. The college was criticized for trying to restrict students’ free speech. Its outdated policies only mean for an unpleasant experience.
