Not A Word
Ryan stood steadfast by his wife’s side. He wasn’t about to abandon her. To him, life had no meaning if she weren’t in it. If she were to pass away, he didn’t know how he would have carried on. Every day, he prayed that she would be fine. He just wanted to see her smiling face and bright eyes look at him again. He would frequently ask doctors for an update about her condition. To his dismay, they were reluctant to give him a definitive response. They never told him that her situation was hopeless, although he got a feeling that they thought that it was. How would Ryan feel about that?
