Hoping It’s A Nightmare
In several entries, Ryan would lament on the fact that every day to him seemed like torture. He would wake up hoping that his wife’s coma was all a horrible nightmare. He desperately wanted his wife to be normal again. Sadly, doctors gave him no encouragement. They told him that she wasn’t going to come back to life. That it was only a matter of time before she was gone forever. Besides, even if she did somehow pull through, they claimed that she would have remained in a vegetative state for good. He was distraught. Then, something happened that changed things forever…
