A Similar Situation
Ryan and Jill had never been in a situation like this before. Neither one of them were ever charged with the task of determining whether a loved one should continue living in a coma or whether they should be taken off of life support. However, Ryan did recall one scenario in which his aunt was hospitalized. During the entire ordeal, he remembered that Jill said that she would have never wanted to live a life as a vegetable in a hospital bed. At the time, he didn’t think much of the comment. Now, however, it took on a whole new meaning. Sadly, the time was approaching: what would he do?
